ZEISS Zen Module Technical Cleanliness Analysis Software
The ZEN Module Technical Cleanliness Analysis Software module is for evaluation of particulate contamination on prepared specimens.
The following standards for component cleanliness, oil cleanliness, and cleanliness of medical products are supported: VDA 19.1, ISO 16232, ISO 4406, ISO 4407, NAS 1638, SAE AS 4059, VDI 2083 (Sheet 21).
This ZEISS software for technical cleanliness analysis includes pre-configured automatic workflows for technical cleanliness analysis and for the rating of single or multiple specimens. User roles can be designated: Supervisor and Operator.
There are 5 job templates provided with the ZEISS Zen Module Technical Cleanliness Analysis. Below are the areas these templates are best suited for.
- Component Cleanliness Evaluation & Rating of Technical Cleanliness of Medical Products
This template acquires multichannel images with different polarization directions using the camera Axiocam 705 pol. Camera sensor technology with on-chip polarization allows for a single specimen acquisition instead of having to image the same specimen twice using different contrast methods. - Oil Analysis
This automated workflow acquires single channel images. - Component Cleanliness Testing
This automated workflow contains pre-trained and trainable models for artificial intelligence (AI)-based analysis of multichannel images with different polarization directions. This workflow requires purchase of the ZEN Toolkit AI in order to train the machine learning models. - Correlative Technical Cleanliness Analysis (for component and oil cleanliness)
This automated light microscope workflow has automated and/or manual particle selection for subsequent scanning electron microscope (SEM)/EDS analysis. This workflow requires the purchase of ZEN Toolkit Connect. - Correlative Component Cleanliness Analysis
This light microscopy workflow has AI-based object classification. This workflow has trainable and pre-trained models for AI-based analysis of multichannel images with different polarization directions. Automated and/or manual particle selection for subsequent SEM / EDS analysis can be completed in “free” mode. In order to use the machine learning models, ZEN Toolkit Connect and ZEN Toolkit AI need to be purchased.
Additional features of the job templates in the ZEISS ZEN Module Technical Cleanliness Analysis software include:
- Acquire Images
- Analyze and Process Images
- Present Results in Interactive Views
- Generate Reports with the Results of Characteristic Values and Standard Specific Methods
- Archive Data with Automated Storage of Results and Inspection Views
- Inspect and Export Archived Data
