Metkon Cold Mounting Supplies

Cold mounting is preferred for samples which are sensitive to damage from heat and pressure (like coatings, PCB, etc.) Cold mounting resins are easy to use. There are two types of Metkon cold mounting resins: DMT Acrylic cold mounting resins, and EPOCOLD Epoxy cold mounting resins. The Acrylic cold mounting resins have a very fast cure time and requires mixing in the ratio 2:1, powder to liquid. The mix is then poured into a mould and allowed to set. The Epoxy cold mounting resins have better results in good edge protection, as well as low shrinkage and moderate hardness.
