Mitutoyo Cartridge Head Probe for Mu Checker Standard Type

The cartridge head probe plugs into a Mu checker indicator and is used to measure even soft workpieces, such as the warp of a LCD panel, due to the low measuring force used by the probe. NOTE: This is only the probe. The indicator is available for purchase separately.

The probe has the following specifications:

• Measuring range (mm): ± 1.0
  
• Stylus stroke (mm): +1.35/ -1.15
  
• Measuring force: 0.7N
  
• Stem Diameter (mm): Ø8
  
• Linearity: ±0.3%
  
• Size: ~8mm W x 81mm D x 8mm H (probe only, not including cable). Cable is 2m long and has a MAS-5100 (DIN5P) attachment at one end that connects to the Mu checker indicator.
  
• Bearing unit structure: Linear ball bearing type
  
• Notes: Standard type probe with cable strain-relief and dust-proof rubber boot. The probe has M2.5x5 threads which fit the stylus. The stylus may be changed out for another one with compatible threads. Additional compatible styli may be purchased here.
