Aurox Unity Complete Confocal Microscope

The Aurox Unity is a new breed of user-friendly bench-top laser-free confocal bringing affordable high speed, high resolution imaging to your laboratory. The patented optical path is central to the design of Unity and its enabling technology. It allows sample imaging from both above and below the sample, providing confocal and widefield imaging whilst maintaining an extremely compact size.

Operating Principle: Structured illumination, spinning disk. 3 grid densities for matching sectioning and throughput to objective and sample.

Acquisition Modes: Toggle instantly between widefield and confocal mode. Acquisition modes include time-lapse, tile scan, multi-position, Z-stack and mutli-channel imaging.

Sample Holder Options: Three interchangeable sample holders allowing you to image all your samples, whether they are mounted in multi-well plates, petri-dishes or slides.

Environmental Control: Unity’s red cased incubator sample stage provides heating and CO₂ gas connections for sample environment control, allowing your live-cell samples to be maintained at 35-37 degrees Celsius and under CO₂.

Unity iOS Software: Unity iOS provides all the functionality required for the set-up, control and review of confocal and widefield imaging experiments in a quick and easy to use iPad application.

Light Sources: Built-in multi-spectral LED light source with integrated filter channels for DAPI, FITC, TRITC.

Camera: Custom built high-performance sCMOS camera with dual 2k X 2k sensors mounted side-by-side with shared electronics to ensure perfect pixel registration.

Dimensions: Compact footprint 220mm x 430mm x 400mm (8.7" x 16.9" x 15.7"), total weight under 25kg (55 lbs).

Integrated CPU and Image Server: Unity stores your data on 2x 2Tb SSD integrated servers and makes your data accessible to you, wherever you are over a secure network.

Includes: Complete unit comprising of main body with confocal spinning disk technology, integrated sCMOS camera with twin chips, integrated 3-channel LED light source, transmitted light function, linear motor drive XYZ, onboard 4TB of storage, networking router, control iPad, and tools.
