Food Packaging Seals under the Microscope
Microscope World recently worked with a customer that needed to view the quality of their sealant on food packaging. In particular they needed to see the seal of a potato chip bag. A metallurgical microscope was used along with a camera with extended depth of focus software (also known as z-stacking software). Below are the images that were captured of the potato chip bag seal under the microscope.
