Inverted Metallurgical Brightfield / DIC Microscope

The Fein Optic Mi50 inverted brightfield metallurgical microscope includes the Color Corrected Infinity Optical System in order to provide high image quality and high resolution. Objective lenses are high resolution brightfield semi apochromat with high N.A.

 

• Objective Lenses: Objectives are mounted in reversed quintuple nosepiece, with DIC slot (DIC slider sold separately below). DIN Infinity Corrected Optical System objectives include:
  
  • Brightfield Semi Apochromat Metallurgical 5x objective, NA 0.15, WD 19.5mm
  • Brightfield Semi Apochromat Metallurgical 10x objective, NA 0.30, WD 10.9mm
  • Brightfield Semi Apochromat Metallurgical 20x objective, NA 0.50, WD 3.2mm
  • Brightfield Semi Apochromat Metallurgical 50x objective, NA 0.80, WD 1.2mm
  • OPTIONAL: Brightfield Semi Apochromat Metallurgical 100x objective, NA 0.90, WD 1.0mm
    
• Viewing Head: 45° inclined siedentopf trinocular viewing head with interpupillary adjustment of 50mm - 75mm, diopter adjustable. Beam splitter provides light of 100:0 or 0:100.
• Eyepieces: High eyepoint widefield plan 10x eyepieces F.N. 22 with adjustable diopter. Accepts a 26mm diameter reticle.
• Total Magnification: 50x, 100x, 200x and 500x.
• Specimen Stage: Triple-layer rackless stage 240mm (W) x 250mm (L) with moving range of 50mm x 50mm, low-position ergonomic X-Y controls. Metal stage plate with stage clips.
  
• Polarization: Includes polarizer that can shift out of the light path and 360° rotary analyzer.
• DIC: Microscope has slot for DIC slider (sold separately).
  
• Illumination: External power adapter, input 100~240V. Light intensity control with LED readout on front of microscope. 12v, 100w halogen illuminator. CE and UL certified. Daylight balancing filter for illuminator. Replacement bulb = 12v100wH.
  
• Focusing: Low position coaxial focusing system with coarse range of 9mm (6.5mm up, 2.5mm down), fine precision of 0.002mm. Upper limit and tension adjustment.
  
• Size: 406.1mm H x 749.6mm D x 240mm W (stage is 361mm W).
