Andrology Semen Analysis Digital HD Phase Microscope

This andrology and semen analysis microscope is used for viewing both the quality and quantity of semen. The semen analysis microscope includes a HD camera with attached HD monitor for viewing live images. The camera can also capture and save images. Andrologists use phase contrast when they do not want to stain a sample in order to view the shape of the sperm. Semen analysis microscopes include a heated stage plate and controller, which allows the semen to remain living, which is important in andrology analysis.

Objective Lenses: Reversed quintuple objective turret holds the included DIN Infinity Corrected Optical System (ICOS) Objectives:  

• Plan Phase Contrast 10x, NA 0.25, WD 12.1mm
• Plan Phase Contrast 20x, NA 0.40, WD 1.5mm
• Plan Phase Contrast 40x, NA 0.65WD 0.36mm
• Plan Phase Contrast 100x, NA 1.25, WD 0.18mm

Viewing Head: Trinocular gemel head, with 30° eyetubes. Interpupillary adjustment from 50-75mm.

Eyepieces: PL-WF 10x Widefield, plan eyepieces, FN20. Dual diopter with +/-5 adjustment. Accepts 26mm diameter reticle.

Total Magnification: 100x, 200x, 400x and 1000x.

Specimen Stage: 150x140mm mechanical stage with 76mm x 50mm movement range. Precision 0.1mm.

Illumination: High intensity 3W LED transmitted Koehler light system provides a bright and uniform field for each magnification. Voltage 100~240V.

Light Focusing: Phase contrast condenser with brightfield, phase, centering screws and centering telescope. Stops include BF, Ph1, Ph2, Ph3 and Ph4, with iris diaphragm and green interference filter.

Focusing: Coaxial coarse and fine focusing. Coarse focusing is 30mm with tightness adjustment and rack stop. Fine adjustment of 0.002mm.

Heated Stage: Includes heating stage and one channel controller. Includes all cables, power supplies, sensors and probes.

Camera: 4K HD camera with HDMI and USB3 output. 1/1.8" Exmore Sony IMX334(C) sensor. Pixels 2.0 x 2.0µm. 60 frames per second at 3840 x 2160 HDMI. Binning 1x1. 8mp image capture, software, power adapter 100~240V, HDMI Cable, SD Card, USB Mouse. Includes software for PC with USB connection for image capture. Software can be used to capture images and video and make measurements. If making measurements with the software you will need a stage micrometer (available below).

Software Calibration: If you plan to make measurements using the software you will need to calibrate the microscope. Calibrating your software with the microscope requires use of a stage micrometer. When ordering please select this option if you do not already have a stage micrometer. The stage micrometer included if ordered is 1mm / 100 divisions. If NIST certification is selected 10 points will be certified. Please note that NIST certification takes approximately 2 weeks.

HD Monitor: 12" LCD HDMI monitor, true 1080P. LED backlight. Monitor mounts directly to HD camera. Includes 110~240V power cord and short HDMI cable.
