National Optical BTI1-169 Digital Tablet Binocular Compound Microscope

This National Optical BTI1-169 is a digital tablet binocular compound microscope with a wide range of options for objective lenses.  The digital microscope transmits live images to iOS or Android devices by using the tablet hotspot. High-speed, high-resolution images are now easy to share.

  • Objective Lenses:  All objectives are DIN standard, parfocalled, parcentered and color-coded. Microscope objectives are mounted in ball-bearing quad turret in reverse position. Select from the following when ordering:
    • Semi-Plan Achromat 4x, 10x, 40xR, 100xR objectives.
    • ASC Super High Contrast 4x, 10x, 40xR, 100xR objectives.
    • Plan Achromat 4x, 10x, 40xR, 100xR objectives.
  • Eyepieces: Binocular head holds widefield 10x / 18mm eyepiece with pointer. Accepts 20mm diameter reticle.
  • Total Magnification: 40x, 100x, 400x, 1000x.
  • Specimen Stage: Large 140mm x 135mm (5.5" x 5.25") stage with professional quality, low profile mechanical specimen holder with low-position coaxial X-Y controls. Movement of 70mm X by 50mm Y with graduations of 0.1mm.
  • Condenser: 1.25 N.A. Abbe condenser with spiral focusing mount, iris diaphragm, swing-out filter holder.
  • Focusing:  Coarse and fine focus knobs with coaxial focusing. Stage moves up and down. Slip clutch prevents damage to focusing system. Tension adjustment eliminates stage drift. 
  • Camera: 5mp (2592 x 1944 pixels) CMOS camera with 1/2.5" chip.
  • Tablet: Includes 8" tablet that connects to camera with mini USB to micro USB cable. Camera is CMOS sensor with live resolution of 800x1280. 4mp capture to micro SD card. Video capture resolution 720P. Tablet uses MoticConnect App. The camera works with Motic Images Plus 3.0 software for windows, OSX and Linux.
  • Software: Free MotiConnect App available from App or Google Play Stores. Downloadable Motic software operates on Windows XP and above or MAC OSX.
  • Illumination: 3w LED illumination with rheostat control. Includes 110V~220V power supply. CE certified.
