Wastewater Treatment Microscope WWRB20

The WWRB20 wastewater treatment microscope was created to identify bacteria in wastewater using simple phase contrast. This wastewater treatment microscope can be used in wastewater treatment to identify bacteria, rotifers and protozoa.

• Objective Lenses: Infinity Corrected DIN Plan Achromat 4x, 10x, 40xR phase contrast, 100xR (oil immersion) plan objectives. All microscope objectives are parfocalled, parcentered and color-coded. Quad objective turret is ball-bearing mounted for smooth, precise positioning of objectives, features textured rubber knurling for easy grip. Mounted in reverse position to facilitate ease in changing slides.
• Eyepieces: Widefield High Eyepoint Focusing 10x eyepieces / FN 20mm. Your choice of binocular or trinocular Siedentopf viewing head with 30° inclined eyepieces with interpupillary adjustment 47mm to 75mm. Eyepiece can hold a 20mm diameter reticle if the reticle retaining ring is added.
• Eyepiece Reticle: Optional eyepiece reticle installed (select when ordering). If dual ruler reticle is selected a dual ruler 0.4" and 10mm reticle will be installed with the following specifications:
  • 0.4" scale numbered 0-40, each division 0.1"
  • 0-10 has 10 divisions = 0.01"
  • 10-20 has 5 divisions = 0.02"
  • 20-40 has 4 divisions = 0.05"
  • 10mm scale numbered 0-1
  • 0-1mm has 10 divisions = 0.1mm
  • 1-2mm has 5 divisions = 0.2mm
• Total Magnification: 40x, 100x, 400x, 1000x.
• Specimen Stage: Large 150mm x 140mm stage with professional quality, built-in, low profile, ball-bearing mounted mechanical specimen holder with low-position coaxial controls, 76mm (x) by 50mm (y) movement with graduations of 0.1mm.
• Condenser: 1.25 N.A. Abbe condenser has rack & pinion focusing and iris diaphragm. Includes phase slider.
• Focusing: Coaxial coarse and fine focusing controls, coarse has tension adjustment, fine is graduated. Locking position for stage.
• Illumination: Fixed Koehler illuminator 3W LED with variable rheostat control and on/off switch.110~240V power supply.
• Cord and Accessory Storage: Storage compartment located on the back of the microscope frame to store power cord and microscope accessories when not in use.
• Size & Weight: 9" W x 15.5" D x 14" H, 17 lbs.
• Warranty: 5 Year warranty, excluding bulb, cord and fuse.
• Includes: Dust Cover, lens cleaning paper, phase centering telescope.
