The Fein Optic RB20 histology and pathology biological microscope has been set up to meet specifications for tissue sample observation at an affordable price.
- Objective Lenses: Quadruple, ball-bearing, reverse-mounted objective turret holds the included Infinity Corrected Optical System objectives:
- Plan Achromat 4x, NA 0.10
- Plan Achromat 10x, NA 0.25
- Plan Achromat 20x, NA 0.40
- Plan Achromat 40x, NA 0.65
- Viewing Head: Your choice of Binocular or Trinocular Siedentopf viewing head with eyetubes inclined at 30°, interpupillary adjustment from 47mm - 75mm.
- Eyepieces: Widefield, 10x eyepieces, FN20. Focusable, with +/-5 diopter adjustment. Includes eyeshields. Eyepiece can hold a 20mm diameter reticle if the reticle retaining ring is added.
- Eyepiece Reticle: Optional eyepiece reticle installed (select when ordering). If dual ruler reticle is selected a dual ruler 0.4" and 10mm reticle will be installed with the following specifications:
- 0.4" scale numbered 0-40, each division 0.1"
- 0-10 has 10 divisions = 0.01"
- 10-20 has 5 divisions = 0.02"
- 20-40 has 4 divisions = 0.05"
- 10mm scale numbered 0-1
- 0-1mm has 10 divisions = 0.1mm
- 1-2mm has 5 divisions = 0.2mm
- Total Magnification: 40x, 100x, 200x and 400x.
- Specimen Stage: Flat-top stage, 150mm x 100mm mechanical stage with movement of 76mm (X) and 50mm (Y) with vernier readings, specimen holder, low-positioned coaxial controls.
- Illumination: Fixed Koehler illuminator, 3W high intensity LED illuminator with intensity control. 100~240v power supply.
- Light Focusing: Achromatic NA 1.25 Abbe substage condenser with iris diaphragm and filter tray for brightfield work, slot for phase slider, focusable.
- Focusing: Coaxial coarse and fine focusing controls, coarse has tension adjustment, fine is graduated. Locking position for stage.
- Cord and Accessory Storage: Storage compartment located on the back of the microscope frame to store power cord and microscope accessories when not in use.
