Richter Optica UX1-HD Digital HD Plan Achro Microscope

The Richter Optica UX1-HD digital high definition plan achromat high power biological compound microscope offers high quality optics at an affordable price point for High Schools, Universities and Veterinarians. This microscope is ideal for teaching environments with the high definition camera and 13.3" HD monitor attached to it. Images can also be projected to a larger HD monitor in 4K.

Objective Lenses: DIN Plan Achromat 4x, 10x, 40xR, 100xR (oil immersion) objectives, cover slip corrected. All microscope objectives are parfocalled, parcentered and color-coded. Quad objective turret is ball-bearing mounted for smooth, precise positioning of objectives, features textured rubber knurling for easy grip. Mounted in reverse position to facilitate ease in changing slides.

Eyepieces: Widefield High Eyepoint Focusing 10x eyepieces / FN 18mm. Trinocular Siedentopf viewing head with 30° inclined binocular eyepiece with interpupillary adjustment 50mm to 75mm. Left eyetube has diopter adjustment of +/-5. Light is directed 50% to eyepieces and 50% to camera at all times. Retaining ring is available to insert 19mm diameter reticle.

Total Magnification: 40x, 100x, 400x, 1000x.

Specimen Stage: Large 140mm x 132mm stage (5.5" x 5.2"), with professional quality, built-in, low profile, ball-bearing mounted mechanical specimen holder with low-position coaxial controls, 76mm (x) by 50mm (y) movement with vernier graduations of 0.1mm. 1.25 N.A. Abbe condenser has rack & pinion focusing and iris diaphragm with preset positions and filter holder for 32mm filter. Filter not included.

Focusing: Coaxial coarse and fine focusing controls, fine focus graduations of 0.002mm, 25mm vertical travel range, tension adjustment on coarse focus knob, and safety rack stop to prevent damage to objective lenses and slides.

Illumination: 3W LED with variable rheostat control and on/off switch.110~240V power supply. LED bulb is rated to 20,000 hours of use. Includes four AA rechargeable batteries and auto cut-off recharger. Use plugged in or cordless.

HD Camera: HD 4K camera has direct output to HDMI screen and USB2. 30 frames per second at 1920 x 1080. 1/1.8" CMOS Sony IMX334(C) sensor. Pixels 2 x 2µm. Image capture 8mp to SD Card (included) or directly to computer (USB). Camera control panel for exposure, gain, white balance, color, sharpness, noise control. Cross line option for on-screen cross-hair. USB capture for Windows. Software included for making measurements. Software works on PC only, will not work on MAC. Windows 7, 8, 10 (32 & 64 bit). Includes USB mouse for camera control. Includes 13.3" HD monitor.

Software Calibration: If you plan to make measurements using the software you will need to calibrate the microscope. Calibrating your software with the microscope requires use of a stage micrometer. When ordering please select this option if you do not already have a stage micrometer. The stage micrometer included if ordered is 1mm / 100 divisions. If NIST certification is selected 10 points will be certified. Please note that NIST certification takes approximately 2 weeks.

HD Monitor: 13.3" LCD HDMI monitor with true 1080P. LED backlight. Monitor mounts directly to HD camera and can be removed. Includes 110~240V power cord and short HDMI cable.
