The National Optical 215-RLED is a compound rechargeable microscope. This model can be ordered with achromat or super high contrast objective lenses.
- Objective Lenses (select when ordering): DIN 4x (NA = 0.10), 10x (NA = 0.25), 40xR (NA = 0.65), 100xR oil (NA = 1.25) objectives are achromatic, parfocalled, parcentered, color coded.
If desired, select ASC (super high contrast) objective lenses when ordering. 30° inclined viewing head rotates 360° for easy re-positioning, sharing by more than one student.
- Eyepieces: Widefield 10x eyepieces, one with pointer.
Accepts optional (#965-160) eyepiece reticle.
- Total Magnification: 40x, 100x, 400x, 1000x.
- Specimen Stage: Large 120mm x 120mm stage with professional quality, low-profile mechanical specimen holder with low-position X-Y coaxial controls.
- Focusing: Separate low position coarse and fine focusing. Stage moves up and down while eyepiece and body remain fixed. Slip clutch prevents damage to focusing mechanism. Tension adjustment eliminates stage drift. Safety rack stop prevents damage to slides and objective lenses.
- Condenser: NA 1.25 Abbe condenser with spiral focusing mount, iris diaphragm, swing-out filter holder and blue filter.
- Illumination: LED illumination with intensity control. Rechargeable batteries and recharger are included. Voltage 110~240V.
- Camera Port: Microscope includes camera port, c-mount adapter is sold separately.
