The National Optical 211-RLED and 212-RLED are corded monocular compound LED microscopes. The microscope includes a camera port.

- All objectives are achromatic, parfocalled, parcentered, and color coded.
- Viewing Head: 45° inclined viewing head rotates 360° for easy re-positioning, sharing by more than one student.
- Eyepiece: Single widefield 10x eyepiece with pointer. Accepts optional (#965-160) eyepiece reticle.
- Total Magnification: 40x, 100x, 400x, and (if selected) 1000x.
- Specimen Stage: Large 120mm x 120mm (4.7" x 4.7") stage with professional quality, low-profile mechanical specimen holder with low-position X-Y coaxial controls.
- Focusing: Separate low position coarse and fine focusing. Stage moves up and down while eyepiece and body remain fixed. Slip clutch prevents damage to focusing mechanism. Tension adjustment eliminates stage drift. Safety rack stop prevents damage to slides and objective lenses.
- Condenser: NA 1.25 Abbe condenser has spiral focusing mount and iris diaphragm.
