Metkon VACUMET 52 Vacuum Unit for Cold Mounting

The Metkon VACUMET 52 is designed for preparing specimens for cold mounting. It removes air trapped in the mounting material during the cold mounting process and for eliminates gaps between the specimen and the resin. VACUMET 52 can also be used during the preparation of thin sectioning samples. Only an air connection is needed to operate the VACUMET 52. The system is easy to use and can operate with or without the sucking function. VACUMET 52 has a setting for working with low-density materials.
