This metal halide fluorescence illumination is ideal for use throughout a vast array of fluorescence applications. The bulb has a lifespan of 2000 hours and an LED display clearly indicates the remaining time left until bulb replacement. The Lumen 200S is controllable with the ProScan controller and software which allows for a greater level of automation and is ideal for time-lapse experiments. The shutter closes in less than 30ms, which equals very brief exposure periods reducing photo bleaching and damage to valuable samples.
