The Howard Mold counting chamber is used to make mold counts. It has a rectangle in the center of the slide with flanked shoulders. The cover glass is placed on these flanked shoulders to provide a 0.1mm space between the rectangle and cover glass. Both the rectangle and cover glass have optically plane surfaces. The rectangle has two engraved parallel lines for calibrating with a microscope. This counting chamber comes with one thick cover glass and one thin cover glass.
