This Prior Scientific focus drive is not encoded and is made for use with the ProScan III. The motorized focus control provides step sizes as small as 0.002µm, providing excellent resolution for precise and repeatable Z-axis focusing. For larger movements where speed is required, the focus motor can be driven up to 20 revolutions per second. The drive has a rotating cable system designed to prevent the cable from twisting around the drive. This focus drive fits most microscopes with coaxial coarse and fine focus control.
Requires a microscope focus sleeve for use.
