Cargille Sink Float Screening Set Limited Range 9 Standards

Cargille Sink float screening sets are hermetically sealed, weighted, amber glass capsules used to visually monitor or measure the density of liquids. These sink floats are calibrated at 23ºC to measure a specific density of a liquid within a 1.00 - 3.00 gm/cc range. Learn more about sink floats.

• Ordering: Must specify the specific density and tolerance for each required sink float. Precise density within a set may not end in a "0" or a "5". The precise density will be clearly marked and calibrated within the chosen tolerance. Example, a nominal 1.00 gm/cc standard will be marked with its density within its tolerance so its density will be a number between 0.995 and 1.005 and marked as to its actual density. When specifying densities, separate each required density by a "," with no spaces. Example, 1.01,1.06,etc.
• Density range: 1.00 - 3.00 gm/cc
• Interval: 0.25
• Tolerance: +/- 0.005 or +/- 0.0005
• Calibration temperature: 23ºC
• Markings: permanently marked for identification
• Size: 1/4" (6.4mm) OD, 3/4" (19mm) in length.
