Richter Optica HS-1M Biological Microscope

The Richter Optica HS-1M is a biological student microscope used most commonly in high schools. This model is an excellent choice because of the quality optics and the cool LED illumination that will not harm your specimens.

• Objective Lenses: DIN 4x, 10x, 40xR objectives are achromatic, parfocalled, parcentered, color coded. 45° inclined viewing head rotates 360° for easy repositioning, sharing by more than one student.
• Eyepieces: Widefield 10x eyepiece, FN18.
• Total Magnification: 40x, 100x, 400x. 
• Specimen Stage: Large 120mm x 110mm stage, with locked-on, spring mounted stage clips, drilled and tapped to accept optional mechanical stage. The mechanical stage helps to maneuver slides easier, providing 2 knobs for X-Y control. 
• Focusing: Rack & pinion coarse focus with tension adjustment, separate fine focus. Tension adjustment eliminates stage drift. Safety rack stop prevents damage to slides and objective lenses.
• Condenser: N.A. 0.65 iris diaphragm condenser.
• Illumination: LED illumination with on/off switch with intensity control. The HS-1M student microscope has 3 LED lights beneath the stage rated up to 100,000 hours life, cool burning illumination that far surpasses the light of a standard 20 watt tungsten bulb. Cordless microscope runs on rechargeable batteries (included) and includes auto cut-off recharger. Microscope can be plugged in and run off the 100~240V recharger.
